TRITEQ was founded in 1989 to provide premium quality engineering, consulting and drafting services to the building enclosure industry. 

The early development of the firm was guided by the experience, technical competence and professionalism of Robert Weible. Prior to the founding of TRITEQ, Bob had amassed over 25 years of experience in the curtain wall industry with Cupples Products, serving as chief structural engineer. His dedication carried TRITEQ through it’s early years as he forged relationships with some of the premier curtainwall contractors in the country. TRITEQ grew steadily under his leadership from the late 1990s through the late 2000s completing many noteworthy projects in the US and overseas.

In 2008, leadership of the firm passed from Bob to Michael Kourinos, a licensed engineer who previously served as Vice President of TRITEQ. John Hehmeyer, a licensed PE and SE is Vice President and Head of Engineering while Chris Jehle serves as Head of the Drafting Department.

TRITEQ continues to expand into other developing areas in façade design. These include engineering for hurricane/tornado impact per FEMA/ICC standards, engineering for thermal analysis, and 3D modeling for BIM coordination and delegated design.
